Val Mesdì lies right in the heart of the Dolomites and in the Sella Group. This itinerary in the Dolomites is the most classic free riding descent of the Eastern Alps. It has a low-medium difficulty level but is suitable only for good skiers who are capable of skiing with all types of snow conditions. It unwinds a- long a wide valley surrounded by spectacular walls and towering rocks that have made it famous throughout the world for its beauty. The course does ha- ve some particularly steep parts (the difficulty level varies according to the snow conditions) and is not signed or maintained in a state of safety. Those who embark on it do so at their own risk. This event represents the modern "re-proposal" of a competition that used to take place in the 40's, making hi- story as one of the first free riding competitions in the Alps.
